Rhetoric and Writing Graduate Students to Present on “Digital Literacies in the Classroom: Integration, Implementation and Assessment” at the 2006 NCTE Conference

Nashville, TN--WIDE Graduate Research Assistants and R & W Digital and Professional Writing MA students, Grace Bernhardt and Michael McLeod, along with R & W PhD student Stephanie Sheffield, “will explore the range of practical and theoretical issues related to the integration of digital literacy technologies into writing classrooms, including developing effective and relevant digital media assignments, using digital composing technologies, making the most of the technology available to individual teachers, and assessing and evaluating student digital work" (Bernhardt et al).

Bernhardt, McLeod, and Sheffield will present at the 2006 NCTE Conference on Friday, November 17th at 12:30 PM, in Nashville, Tennessee.
