WIDE Research Center Co-Director and Graduate Students Participate in Michigan State University’s World Usability Day 2006.

East Lansing, MI—WIDE Research Center Co-Director Jeff Grabill, along with WIDE Graduate Research Assistants Kendall Leon, Matt Penniman, Stacey Pigg, and Suzanne Webb, as well as Rhetoric and Writing PhD Student Shreelina Ghosh and MA student Lisa Eldred, facilitated a two hour workshop at the 2006 World Usability Day, November 14, 2006, on “Usability as a Tool for Capacity Building.” Grabill also delivered the keynote talk later that afternoon. Grabill presented on “The Expertise and Complexity of Citizen Knowledge Work; or, a Tale of How Information Technologies Move From Being Good Collaborators to Poor Collaborations.” The slides for both the workshop and the presentation can be accessed below.
